This topic provides general information about integrating sales orders in Microsoft Dynamics CRM with sales orders in Microsoft Dynamics NAV.

• You can create a sales order in Microsoft Dynamics NAV from any sales orders in Microsoft Dynamics CRM that has the status Submitted.
  
• When a sales order in Microsoft Dynamics NAV is created, the Bill-to fields in the sales order will be updated as follows:
  
  • If any Bill-to field in the Microsoft Dynamics CRM has a value, all Bill-to fields in the Microsoft Dynamics NAV will be overwritten by the values in Microsoft Dynamics CRM.
    
  • If all Bill to fields in Microsoft Dynamics CRM are empty, the Bill-to fields in Microsoft Dynamics NAV will use the default values, which are retrieved from the customer who is assigned to sales order.
    
  • If the value of Bill-to City field in Microsoft Dynamics CRM is not defined as a city for a post code in navnow, an error will occur and you cannot create the sales order.
    
  • If the value of Bill-to Country/Region Code field in Microsoft Dynamics CRM is not defined as a country/region code in Microsoft Dynamics NAV, an error will occur and you cannot create the sales order.
    
• After a sales order is created in Microsoft Dynamics NAV, you can modify the sales order in Microsoft Dynamics NAV. However, you cannot synchronize changes with Microsoft Dynamics CRM sales order because it has been submitted and cannot.
  
• When you post a sales order in Microsoft Dynamics NAV, the status of the coupled sales order in Microsoft Dynamics CRM changes from Submitted to Invoiced.
  
• You cannot create from sales orders from Microsoft Dynamics CRM sales orders that contain write-in products in Microsoft Dynamics CRM.
